The Opportunity
Hyatt seeks an enthusiastic Senior Financial Analyst to join the Global Financial Planning and Analysis team. In this role, you will be collaborating closely with the broader FP&A team including Investor Relations, where you'll be instrumental in continuing to make Hyatt a leading hospitality company. The Role
The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for analyzing business trends, providing insights, and reporting on expectations and deviations from those expectations, focusing on key performance indicators and the future outlook for Hyatt. This position is central in
both the development and preparation of key executive-level materials, including Quarterly Business Reviews, Board Presentations, and Earnings Releases.
This position reports to the Manager, Hotel FP&A.
-Preparation and development of various executive-level presentations as well as various materials for Hyatt's SEC Filings and Earnings Calls
-Aid in various analyses to help management understand various trends in drivers of the business to identify areas of risk or opportunity in global hotel forecasts; reporting is often ad hoc, time-sensitive, and used directly for communication to senior leadership
-Analyze business trends, providing insight on key performance indicators to the CFO
-Perform analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual results and provide these insights through various means of communication
-Perform other ad hoc analyses as required
-This position directly engages with the executive team and should be able to communicate accordingly
Qualifications:
Experience Required:
-Strong analytical background and ability to draw insights from analysis with attention to detail
-Prior roles will have included communicating and working with senior management
-Advanced experience with Excel is required
Experience Preferred:
-Advanced experience with Analytics/Reporting
-Experience with Alteryx or VBA
-Experience with ThinkCell, PowerBI, Copilot, and/or ChatGPT
-Experience with Hyperion is strongly preferred

The salary range for this position is $78,000 to $116,000. This position is also eligible to earn incentive awards and an annual bonus.
The final pay rate/salary offered to the successful candidate will depend on experience, skill level and other qualifications for the role, as well as the location of the performance of work. Pay for the successful candidate will meet local requirements, including the local minimum wage rate.
