Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Office Administrator responsible for processing inbound orders from the field. This role involves generating invoices, Bills of Lading (BOL), receipts, and scheduling shipments from the warehouse. The position also includes tasks such as two-match for accounts payable, expediting material to ensure timely delivery, verifying shipments on the floor, and conducting inventory control documentation. Additionally, the Office Administrator will provide quotes to the outside sales team.

Responsibilities

Process inbound orders received via email from the field.

Generate invoices, Bills of Lading, and receipts.

Schedule shipments from the warehouse.

Conduct two-match for accounts payable and expedite materials to ensure on-time delivery.

Verify shipments and perform inventory control documentation.

Provide quotes to the outside sales team.

Essential Skills

3+ years of office experience.

1+ year of experience in the manufacturing sector.

Experience with order entry, accounts payable, and/or logistics/expediting.

Proficient in MS Office with the ability to perform formulas in Excel.

Experience with ERP systems, Excel, and Sage.

High School Diploma.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

A degree is preferred.

Work Environment

The Office Administrator will work in a small office manufacturing environment with their own office space. Daily interaction with shipping and floor staff is required. The work hours are 1st Shift, from 7:30am to 4:00pm CST, and the dress code is business casual. The company offers excellent benefits, a 401K with matching, free healthcare, and bi-annual bonuses.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of La Porte, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
