Job Title: Rollback / Tow Truck Driver

Location: Altoona, Pennsylvania

Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time

Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable, safety-focused Rollback/Tow Truck Driver to join our team in Altoona, PA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating a rollback or wrecker to assist with vehicle recoveries, transports, and roadside service calls. This position involves working with customers, law enforcement, and repair facilities while maintaining a professional and courteous attitude at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate rollback and/or conventional tow trucks to recover, transport, or relocate vehicles.

Respond to dispatch calls in a timely and professional manner.

Secure vehicles properly using industry-standard safety procedures and equipment.

Perform light roadside services such as jump starts, tire changes, and lockouts.

Complete all required documentation accurately, including service tickets and condition reports.

Maintain the cleanliness and mechanical readiness of assigned vehicles.

Follow all DOT, safety, and company policies at all times.

Qualifications:

Valid CLASS C drivers license with a clean driving record and pass a physical.

Previous towing or recovery experience preferred, but not required---training may be provided.

Strong communication and customer service skills.

Ability to work independently and handle stressful situations calmly.

Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and on-call rotations.
