Accounts Payable Clerk

Our client, a leading organization in their industry, is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join their team. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be an integral part of the finance department supporting the accounts payable team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Accounts Payable Clerk

Location: Ashland, KY

Pay Range: Starting at $16.00hr +

Shift: M-F 8AM - 5pm

What's the Job?

Processing and verifying invoices for payment

Maintaining accurate records of transactions

Reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies

Assisting with month-end closing activities

Collaborating with vendors and internal teams to ensure timely payments

What's Needed?

Previous experience in accounts payable or related finance roles

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Proficiency with accounting software and MS Office Suite

Ability to work effectively in a team environment
