We are looking for an experienced Development Operations Manager to join our team in Norwalk, Connecticut. In this long-term HYBRID contract position, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficiency and accuracy of donor data management and fundraising operations within our non-profit organization. This role is central to managing donor contributions, creating reliable processes, and supporting strategic fundraising initiatives that advance our mission.

Responsibilities:

Oversee the processing of philanthropic contributions, ensuring all donations are accurately recorded and acknowledged in a timely manner.

Collaborate with the Finance team to log incoming donations, manage deposits, and reconcile financial records with fundraising data.

Administer the donor database, maintaining accurate records of gifts, donor information, and campaign tracking.

Generate donor acknowledgment letters and tax receipts in alignment with organizational standards.

Develop and maintain workflows to ensure consistent and efficient donation processing and documentation.

Create and analyze fundraising reports and dashboards to track donor engagement and campaign performance.

Identify trends in donor giving to support retention strategies and revenue growth.

Train staff on donor database best practices and provide ongoing support for data entry and reporting.

Support fundraising campaigns through donor segmentation, prospect tracking, and strategic list management.

Recommend and implement process improvements to optimize fundraising operations.

Requirements - Proven experience in donor data management and fundraising systems, with knowledge of platforms like DonorPerfect.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing donor contributions and financial records.

Proficiency in creating reports and analyzing data to support fundraising strategies.

Ability to collaborate across teams and provide training on database practices.

Knowledge of donor communication standards, including acknowledgment letters and tax receipts.

Experience in identifying opportunities for donor retention and revenue growth.

Competence in process optimization and workflow development within a fundraising @context.
