About the role
We are seeking a skilled IT Analyst to support, optimize, and integrate IT applications across our manufacturing operations. This role is focused on ensuring robust, compliant, and efficient usage of our manufacturing systems including ERP, MES, LIMS and demand-planning platforms within a regulated GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) environment.
The ideal candidate will also act as the primary point of contact for Manufacturing Execution System (MES) projects, coordinating cross-functional teams, managing vendors, and ensuring solutions meet business, quality, and compliance requirements.
This role is not currently sponsoring visas or considering international movement at this time.
Your responsibilities
Provide application support and enhancements for SAP (manufacturing modules such as PP/PM/QM) to support manufacturing operations.
Support and configure MES system PAS-X for manufacturing execution, batch processing, and integration with SAP.
Support Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) such as LabWare and chromatographic data systems like Empower-ensuring data flow, integration and validation in compliance with 21 CFR Part 11 and GMP.
Support demand planning and supply chain planning system such as Kinaxis RapidResponse: build workbooks, integrate data, execute scenarios, monitor planning KPIs.
Develop and maintain interfaces and data flows between these systems (SAP ? PAS-X ? LIMS ? Demand Planning).
Participate in system validation (IQ/OQ/PQ), change control, audit readiness and ensure documentation is maintained.
Troubleshoot production/manufacturing issues, provide root-cause analysis, implement corrective actions and continuous improvement of system performance.
Provide training and support to end-users in manufacturing, laboratory and planning functions; produce system documentation and SOPs.
MES Project Management
Lead MES projects from initiation through deployment and handoff to operations
Define project scope, timelines, milestones, and resource requirements
Coordinate cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, Quality, Automation, IT, and external vendors
Manage project risks, issues, and change control
Track budgets, schedules, and deliverables; provide regular status reporting
Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams
Ensure adherence to internal project governance and quality systems
The experience we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field.
3-7 years' experience in IT support/analysis in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment (or similar regulated manufacturing).
Hands-on working experience with SAP manufacturing/quality modules (PP, QM, PM) in pharma or process manufacturing.
Experience supporting a MES such as PAS-X or similar.
Experience with LIMS (LabWare) and laboratory data systems (Empower or similar).
Experience with demand planning or supply chain planning systems (Kinaxis RapidResponse, or comparable).
Strong understanding of GMP, validation (IQ/OQ/PQ), computerized system compliance, 21 CFR Part 11.
SQL querying skills, data integration experience, ability to work with APIs/interfaces.
Excellent communication skills; ability to bridge business users and technical teams.
Problem-solving mindset, capable of working under manufacturing timelines and shift support as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
Certification in SAP, or training in PAS-X/LabWare/Kinaxis.
Experience in pharmaceutical batch manufacturing, continuous manufacturing, or biotech operations.
Experience with SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC6
Experience with analytics/reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau) in the manufacturing domain.

US salary ranges
USD $112,000.00 - $168,000.00
US pay transparency
The base salary range for this role will vary based on experience in job and industry, training and education, skills relevant to the position, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to the base salary, the position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, which is subject to change each year.
