In partnership with our client, we are seeking multiple Assistant Production Manager in the Global Medical Manufacturing Industry.

The Assistant Production Manager supports day-to-day manufacturing operations to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient production of medical device components-including high-precision manufacturing operations within a regulated environment. This critical role helps execute production plans, maintain operational discipline, build employee relationships, and drive continuous improvement on the manufacturing floor.

This is a hands-on, execution-focused position designed to develop future production leaders.

Location: St. Louis, MO

Job Type: Direct Hire

Pay Rate: $80-95K

Schedule: 1st Shift, 6 am-4:30 pm, Monday-Friday

OT: Saturdays

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in executing production schedules and supporting assigned manufacturing areas.

Supervise and coach Production Supervisors and front-line staff.

Ensure compliance with FDA QSR, ISO 13485, and company policies.

Foster a strong safety culture and EHS compliance.

Drive operational discipline and structured problem-solving.

Partner with cross-functional teams to support process improvement, equipment, quality, and materials alignment.

Lead Lean and continuous improvement initiatives.

Support new product introductions, line expansions, and documentation accuracy.

Monitor KPIs and support corrective action.

Assist with workforce planning, audits, and internal reviews.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's in Manufacturing, or related field.

5+ years in regulated medical device manufacturing.

4+ years of production supervision/leadership.

Experience with complex component manufacturing preferred.

Knowledge of FDA QSR, ISO 13485, and Lean principles.

Strong hands-on leadership and communication skills.
