Manager Information Technology - Virtual Health Support

Pay: $57.56 - $92.10 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience
We are seeking an Information Technology Manager to lead our Virtual Support Team with strong, people-centered leadership and a collaborative management style. The ideal candidate will bring working knowledge of virtual/telehealth platforms, along with an understanding of the technical infrastructure that supports care delivery across inpatient, ambulatory, and home-based settings. This role is responsible for guiding the team in meeting current operational support needs while also advancing innovative solutions. A willingness to embrace emerging technologies and the ability to inspire and lead a highly skilled, motivated team are essential for success in this position.
This role follows a hybrid work model, with approximately 50% onsite and 50% remote work. Occasional travel is required across multiple regions.
Summary:
Manages the daily operations of the department or assigned area/function to ensure alignment with departmental and organizational objectives.
Responsibilities:
Assists with developing specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization.
Manages staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict management. Performs and oversees scheduling, recruitment, payroll, and student engagements.
Monitors departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts, and vendor relations. Determines and justifies needs for systems/equipment/supplies purchases, monitors usage, and oversees proper working order and/or stock supplies. Supports special projects and business analysis as requested.
Manages information systems installations, conversions, and upgrades. Evaluates need for upgrades or changes to existing systems and recommends cost-effective hardware/software solutions.
Requirements:
High School diploma or GED.
5 years of relevant experience; 1 year of leadership experience.
Preferred:
Budget oversight experience
Resource planning and allocation experience
