We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Secretary to join our team in Reading, Pennsylvania. This Contract to permanent position is ideal for someone with strong administrative skills and a background in supporting legal operations. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of legal proceedings.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and file legal documents, including e-filings, with accuracy and adherence to deadlines.

Manage court filings and ensure all submissions comply with legal standards and requirements.

Maintain and organize attorneys' calendars, scheduling appointments, court dates, and meetings.

Transcribe and @type legal documents, correspondence, and other materials from dictation or recordings.

Monitor deadlines and provide timely reminders to attorneys to ensure all tasks and obligations are met.

Maintain confidentiality while managing sensitive legal information and client records.

Communicate effectively with clients, court personnel, and other legal professionals as needed.

Perform general administrative duties, such as organizing files, ordering office supplies, and handling correspondence.

Support attorneys during legal proceedings by preparing necessary documentation and providing administrative assistance.

Requirements - A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Legal Secretary or in a similar role.

Proficiency in e-filing and managing court filings across various jurisdictions.

Strong skills in calendar management, including scheduling and coordinating multiple priorities.

Excellent typing and transcription abilities with attention to detail and accuracy.

Familiarity with legal terminology, procedures, and documentation.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal software applications.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
