Job Description Supplier Performance & Sourcing Manager - Ironton, OH Ready to own supplier performance and make a measurable impact? Vertiv is looking for a hands-on, strategic Supplier Performance & Sourcing Manager to take the Ironton plant's supply chain to the next level. This is your chance to lead supplier improvement programs, drive local sourcing initiatives, reduce costs, and optimize performance-all while collaborating with operations, purchasing, engineering, quality, and logistics. Work on-site 5 days/week, lead initiatives that matter, and see the real-time impact of your decisions. Lead and manage supplier performance programs focused on OTD, cost, quality, and risk.

Conduct supplier business reviews with Category Managers and cross-functional teams.

Implement and enforce supplier compliance programs with timely corrective actions.

Perform Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analyses to guide sourcing and negotiations.

Identify process gaps and drive Lean / Continuous Improvement initiatives.

Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to optimize performance.

Partner with Operations, Purchasing, Planning, Materials Management, Engineering, Quality, and Logistics on supplier evaluation, transfer projects, and flex programs.

Lead local sourcing initiatives to reduce lead time, lower costs, and improve agility.

On-site Presence: Full-time, on-site at the Ironton plant for hands-on supplier engagement and real-time impact. Minimum Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.

3-5 years leading supplier performance programs with measurable improvements in OTD, cost, or quality within manufacturing.

3-5 years managing local sourcing initiatives to improve lead time, cost, and supplier agility.

3-5 years leading cross-functional supplier improvement or sourcing projects.

3-5 years performing Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis to support sourcing and negotiation decisions.

Lean, Six Sigma, or Operational Excellence certification (Green Belt, Black Belt, or Lean Certified) with demonstrated experience driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables), MS Office, and experience working with ERP and PLM systems.

Preferred Qualifications

ISM or APICS certification.

Lean, Six Sigma, or Operational Excellence certification (Green Belt, Black Belt, Lean Certified).

Experience implementing supplier risk mitigation and resiliency programs.

Ability to lead moderately complex sourcing events.

Travel Requirement

Up to 20% travel in the Americas region to support suppliers and projects.
