Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking to hire a Manager of Supply Chain Programs 3 to join its team of diverse and qualified individuals. This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the Sentinel (GBSD) program in the Strategic Deterrent Systems (SDS) division. Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force's sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated infrastructure. This person will report directly to the Global Supply Chain (GSC) Restructure Program Manager.
Roles and Responsibilities
Helps define and review processes where gaps or improvements may be needed by coordinating cross functionally both within and outside of GSC
Responsible for activities and knowledge within multiple disciplines across the procurement/product life cycle
Responsible and accountable for the strategy, planning, and execution of all material and services content for a Program or collection of Programs. Acts as the main focal point for the Program Management Office (PMO) for the entire supply chain and coordinates cross-functionally to ensure that all supply chain commitments are met, and that appropriate mitigation plans are developed and executed to address any programmatic risks related to suppliers.
Develops the material strategy and leads the activities for GSC in all phases of the Business Acquisition Process (BAP).
Ensures that prior to program execution, all elements of the proposed program(s) plans have complete and accurate schedules, budgets, make/buy plans, and procurement and subcontracts strategies.
Briefs the PMO and executive management on the status and issues affecting Program cost and schedule performance.
Basic Qualifications
Requires US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD security clearance (Secret, Top Secret; etc.) within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need
Requires a bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Program Management, or a related field with 8 years of related experience; 6 years with a master's degree
Requires experience managing projects within the supply chain
Preferred Qualifications
Active DoD Secret Security Clearance
Experience managing people
Ability to effectively drive GSC execution across multiple organizations with differing priorities
Knowledge of GSC processes
Experience in supporting government proposal efforts including bills of material and labor bases of estimates
Excellent communication skills and the ability to develop successful internal and external relationships
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
Ability to deal effectively with competing priorities and deadlines, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating a professional attitude

This position's standard work schedule is 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.

Primary Level Salary Range: $151,500.00 - $227,300.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
