This role owns program management for customer experience features, architecture optimization, and partner enablement workstreams that reduce compatibility-related returns and drive incremental sales.
Unicom builds compatibility intelligence across product categories in 11 geographies, processing data for millions of products to power shopping experiences throughout customers' shopping journeys. This TPM coordinates between Unicom engineering teams and partner organizations including Catalog systems, data generation teams, and customer experience platforms.
This role requires understanding of distributed systems, data pipelines, and API architectures, with ability to build consensus across organizations. You will establish operational mechanisms, drive planning and goal tracking, ensuring programs stay on track and leaders and stakeholders understand accomplishments, risks, tradeoffs, and where support is needed.

Drive product category expansion requiring coordination across data science, catalog, and engineering teams within the VP organization
Define program requirements, secure resources, set priorities and milestones, and drive delivery to meet business goals
Partner with Principal TPMs on program strategy while independently executing initiatives across multiple teams
Mechanisms & Operational Excellence

Drive alignment across compatibility systems to converge on unified architecture
Technical Judgment & Risk Management
Understand compatibility architecture including APIs, data services, storage systems, and catalog integration points
Identify risks from technical complexity including data quality issues, catalog delays, and platform migration impacts
Drive technical reviews with senior engineers to validate architecture decisions for scale, latency, and availability
Surface systemic risks with mitigation plans, escalate appropriately
Communication & Stakeholder Management
Write narratives and program documentation for Directors and VPs explaining technical trade-offs and business impacts
Own program status communication, providing summaries of progress, blockers, and mitigation plans
Present experiment results and business impact analysis with data-driven insights
Build consensus between business teams seeking growth and engineering teams managing technical debt
A day in the life
You will manage programs to scale compatibility intelligence across Amazon's online store. You will run weekly syncs with engineering/product teams to track milestones, identify blockers, and drive decisions. You will maintain program dashboards, updating roadmaps as priorities shift. You will coordinate with catalog, science and partner teams on data requirements for product launches, negotiate timelines, and escalate when program deliveries are at risk.
You will facilitate monthly business reviews presenting program status and business metrics to Directors and VPs. You will drive quarterly planning, translating business goals into technical requirements and securing resource commitments from partner teams. You will identify risks in architecture migrations and work with Principal Engineers and Software Development Managers to validate approaches.
You will work on ambiguous problems like scaling data coverage while improving quality, and delivering CX features with partnership from central teams, requiring you to create mechanisms and automate processes. You will build consensus across organizations with competing priorities, finding paths forward when teams have misaligned incentives or constrained resources.
