Job Title: Maintenance Technician Job Description

We are seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to support a busy manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate should enjoy troubleshooting, working independently, and possess strong technical skills. This role may specialize in one or more areas, such as mechanical, electrical, electronics, HVAC, and hydraulics, but requires general knowledge in all.

Responsibilities

Diagnose the cause of electrical or mechanical malfunctions or failures in operational equipment and perform preventative and corrective maintenance.

Set up and operate lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts.

Apply basic electrical knowledge to test electrical equipment, determining causes for malfunction in motor control devices, switch panels, transformers.

Perform troubleshooting and PLC troubleshooting.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in maintenance technician tasks.

Expertise in pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical systems.

Strong troubleshooting capabilities.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical systems.

Ability to work with metalworking tools like lathe and drill press.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.50 - $31.00/hr.
