Looking to break into the financial industry? Join our Mortgage Operations team and help support the loan process that makes homeownership possible for our members. This is a great entry-level opportunity to learn the mortgage workflow from the ground up while contributing to a team that values accuracy, service, and collaboration.

What You'll Do

In this role, you'll learn the essentials of mortgage processing and help keep our workflow running smoothly by:

Setting up new loan files and assisting with member follow-up

Reviewing, indexing, and organizing documents from members, staff, and third-party partners

Making initial outreach to members and keeping clear, accurate notes of interactions

Updating internal systems and tracking action items to move loans forward

Working with mortgage staff and partners to resolve document issues

Preparing simple production reports and reviewing daily work queues

Identifying process improvements that support team efficiency

Handling general administrative tasks (filing, copying, faxing)

Taking on additional responsibilities as your skills grow

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Winchester, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $16.50/hr.

Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
