Murphy Family Ventures is seeking workers to do general farm labor including mowing, fertilizing, trimming, haying, spraying, maintaining agricultural buildings, managing livestock and helping the farm remain in compliance with the land nutrient management plan. The workers will monitor lagoon freeboard levels and drain the lagoons into hoses that will then pump the manure evenly onto adjacent farmland using airway, pivot and reel irrigators, tractors and irrigation hoses. The workers will operate and maintain the pumping, hoses, tractors and irrigation equipment so that the manure can be properly applied to the surface of the farmland. The workers will record application records, collect soil and water samples and maintain nutrients to proper agronomic rates. Ability to drive, walk, stoop, bend, lift up to 50lbs, climb, perform repetitive motions, see and distinguish colors and hear.
