Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Maintenance Mechanics to join our team at various skill levels, ranging from entry-level to advanced positions. You will play a critical role in maintaining and operating Peanut Shelling Operations and Buying Points, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning of our facilities.

Pay: 18 - 30/hr dependent on experience

Shift: First: MUST be open to working 13 days straight during peak shelling season

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance and operations tasks in peanut shelling and buying points under varying levels of supervision.

Learn and execute basic to advanced mechanical maintenance and repair tasks.

Develop and apply fabricator skills, machine troubleshooting, and independent repair techniques.

Demonstrate advanced troubleshooting and repair capabilities.

Possess advanced electrical skills, including instrumentation and programming for higher-level positions.

Direct and oversee other maintenance staff in the absence of a manager or supervisor.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in welding, fabrication, mechanical maintenance, and repair.

Ability to troubleshoot mechanical components.

Good interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.

Capability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Flexibility to work in extreme conditions, including heat and cold.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Forklift experience is preferred for entry-level positions and required for advanced positions.

Experience working in a food manufacturing facility is preferred.

Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and nights.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rochelle, GA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $30.00/hr.
