Job Title: Welder

Job Description

Join a dynamic team as a Welder where you will perform MIG and TIG welding on aluminum materials. You will work on projects within the rail industry, ensuring quality and precision in each weld.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications.

Prepare and fabricate materials before welding to ensure accuracy and quality.

Perform MIG and TIG welding on aluminum materials for rail industry applications.

Conduct quality checks on completed welds to maintain high standards.

Assist in various other areas of the plant as needed to support team operations.

Essential Skills

Experience in MIG welding.

Experience in TIG welding.

Proficiency with aluminum materials.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Familiarity with fabrication processes.

Experience in production environments.

Skills in tape measure usage and grinding techniques.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Libertyville, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
