Legal Operations Manager
We are seeking a strategic, execution-focused Legal Operations Manager to support scaling and modernizing the Legal Department. This role will be responsible for driving the department's technology roadmap, improving internal legal processes and enabling data-driven decision-making across the legal function.
The Legal Operations Manager will work closely with Legal, IT, Finance, Procurement and other cross-functional partners to evaluate and implement legal technology solutions, lead system implementations, and improve the end-to-end experience for both legal and business stakeholders. This is a highly impactful role within the department, offering the opportunity to shape how legal services are delivered in a fast-paced, evolving enterprise environment.
We currently work on-site, 4 days a week, remote on Fridays. This is a full-time, exempt position.
Essential Functions
Manage the legal department's technology strategy, including the implementation, optimization, and oversight of core legal systems (e.g., CLM, eBilling, AI and workflow platforms).
Serve as the primary administrator for legal technology platforms, including Icertis CLM, Legal Tracker, SharePoint, Harvey, and internal AI and workflow tools.
Partner with Legal, IT, Procurement, Finance and other cross-functional teams to evaluate, select, and implement legal technology solutions that improve workflow efficiency, scalability, and user experience.
Coordinate change management efforts for new tools and processes, including stakeholder communication, training, documentation, and adoption strategies.
Plan and manage complex, cross-functional projects focused on improving legal workflows and service delivery.
Develop, track, and report key legal operations metrics, dashboards, and KPIs to measure performance, adoption, and ROI of legal technology investments.
Support legal vendor management and legal spend initiatives, including eBilling configuration, reporting, and process optimization.
Document, standardize, and continuously improve legal processes, workflows, and operating procedures.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
6 Years - Experience in legal operations, legal technology, or a closely related role, ideally within an in-house legal department

Preferred Qualifications:
10+ Years- Experience in legal operations, legal technology, or a closely related role, ideally within an in-house legal department

Strong technical acumen with direct, hands-on experience implementing and administering legal technology systems (CLM experience strongly preferred) and integrating them into broader enterprise software ecosystems.
Demonstrated success leading AI, automation or process improvement initiatives, with the ability to measure and communicate impact through data and metrics.
Familiarity with key legal technology categories, including CLM, eBilling, AI, workflow automation, and collaboration tools.
Proven ability to operate independently in a high-growth, enterprise, or highly matrixed environment.
Familiarity with standard commercial legal agreements, contract clauses and legal work product strongly preferred.
