Overview
The Senior Manager, Technical Product Operations is essential to ensuring Publicis Media products and services are successfully delivered (e.g., against scope, cost, time, quality) and maintained through the application of program management methodology and business operations. Serves as the point person responsible for making sure the latest guidelines, processes, and tools are available to product developers and engineers. This allows the product team to focus on building and maintaining the product, not on the tools.
The Senior Manager will be responsible for acting as the Scrum Master for development teams assigned to large scale, complex and long duration projects to deliver business solutions to the company. Includes oversight of full project lifecycle from inception to implementation with the ability to manage multiple project tracks and teams using agile methodologies and practices. The Senior Manager understands and can clearly articulate the purpose, the objectives and the solutions for product development efforts.
The Senior Manager will participate in the estimation, risk and resolution, status reporting process, and ensure that the team meets their commitments and is responsible for driving delivery. The Senior Manager ensures the quality of products and service are in compliance with the agency or client's needs.
Responsibilities
Plan, Implement and Manage large scale concurrent projects using the agile framework
Schedules and facilitates agile ceremonies on a bi-weekly basis aligned with the sprint schedule
Ensures there is a consistent application of program management methodologies and standards, including risk mitigation
Drive Operational Excellence process and make sure key success metrics and trend reports are available to our Product and Engineering teams for each sprint
Develops strong and enduring business relationships with senior and mid-level executives
Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative environment and influence others to ensure successful project deployment
Understands key business and technology drivers
Able to write effective user stories and tickets with all required details so that its estimable for prioritization and implementation
Review and management of user stories and tickets throughout the sprint cycle
Track key analytics metrics and provide insights and feedback for the Product team to influence the roadmap/prioritization of potential product changes on a quarterly basis
Proven ability to manage cross-functional execution teams through influence where direct reporting lines do not exist
Works closely with the Product Owner and sponsor to identify and assure delivery against key business objectives, priorities, expectation setting, etc.
Performs other duties as assigned or requested
Qualifications
Excellent understanding of product management and project management principles
Strong Product Management competence
5-7 years product operations experience
5-7 years technology or product development experience or managing in a consulting environment
Hands-on experience with SCRUM/Agile methodologies with enterprise-level application development projects
Experience as an Agile coach
Strong analytical skills and able to create insight out of large datasets
Experience in gathering business insights and identifying trends from data
The candidate must have proven experience working in a complex, matrixed environment, managing multiple partners
Demonstrated experience managing large-scale, complex programs
Strong negotiation and issue resolution skills
Solid understanding of software development life cycle as well as expert knowledge of both Agile and Plan Driven project management principles and practices with the ability to blend them together
Ability to interact, manage and influence key partners including executive team members
Experience working on products, solutions, or Ad Tech
Experience working with Agile Project Management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Rally or equivalent
Experience with multiple project methodologies (Scrum, ATERN, Waterfall, Prince2, etc.)
PMP, PMI-ACP, Scrum Master Certification, Bachelor's degree in business or computer science or MBA

Compensation Range: $112,290.00 - $179,712.00 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
