As a Security Officer - Access Control Food Industry in Springfield, MO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Security Officer with Allied Universal at a fast-paced food and beverage location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, and support visitor and vendor processing. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and communicate clearly with teams across the site. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients at a food and beverage production and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Control access at gates, guard shacks, and/or entry points by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, managing sign-in and sign-out logs, and directing visitors, contractors, and deliveries to authorized areas.

Screen and process inbound and outbound vehicle and pedestrian traffic, including delivery drivers, by confirming appointments, reviewing shipping documentation as required, and communicating with site contacts for access approvals.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, policy violations, and/or suspicious activity according to site procedures.

Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, production areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and support a visible security-related presence.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
