Job Description

Join our team as a General Laborer responsible for maintaining cleanliness at a large data center construction site in The Dalles. This role involves essential cleaning tasks such as wiping down server racks, sweeping, mopping, and dusting. This position requires working on your feet for 8 to 10 hours daily, with some tasks performed at heights of 6-8 feet. Steel toe boots are mandatory for safety.

Responsibilities

Wipe down server racks and other surfaces within the facility.

Sweep, mop, and dust various areas of the data center.

Work on your feet for extended periods, 8 to 10 hours a day.

Perform cleaning tasks at heights of 6-8 feet when necessary.

Complete mandatory new hire orientations on the first day promptly.

Essential Skills

Ability to work on your feet for 8 to 10 hours.

Comfortable working at heights of 6-8 feet.

Possession of steel toe boots.

Ability to lift up to 50lbs consistently.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in janitorial or sanitation roles is preferred but not required.

Customer service experience with client interaction is an advantage.

Familiarity with buffers or cleaning equipment is a bonus.

Work Environment

The work environment involves IT facilities and clean room settings. The shift is from 6am to 2:30pm, Monday through Friday, with some overtime required on occasion. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
