Our client, a leading organization in logistics and supply chain management, is seeking a Warehouse Lead to join their team. As a Warehouse Lead, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting the distribution and inventory management teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Warehouse Lead

Location: Richmond, VA

Pay Range: $23

Shift: Monday-Friday 6:00AM-2:30PM, Tuesday-Saturday 9:00AM-5:30PM

What's the Job?

Assign work and monitor group activities to ensure productivity goals are met

Instruct associates in proper equipment, operational, and maintenance procedures; guide team in understanding housekeeping requirements

Monitor and maintain availability of tools, materials, and supplies to support daily operations

Oversee the usage of equipment and ensure team adherence to all safety procedures and programs

Handle inventory management, including monitoring levels and performing merchandise reconciliation

What's Needed?

At least 4 years of warehouse experience with a proven track record in a supervisory role

Experience in using Microsoft Office applications and proficiency in basic computer skills

High school diploma or equivalent

Availability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong leadership and mentoring abilities
