We are seeking an experienced Family Law Attorney to join our team in a hybrid role based in San Jose. As a Family Law Attorney, you will leverage your extensive experience to provide compassionate and strategic legal counsel to clients navigating family law matters.

Responsibilities:

Manage a diverse caseload of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, child and spousal support, property division, and domestic violence cases

Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and settlement negotiations

Draft legal documents such as petitions, motions, discovery requests, and settlement agreements

Conduct client consultations, providing clear advice and outlining strategies and next steps

Perform legal research to ensure the best outcomes for clients and maintain current knowledge of family law statutes

Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to ensure efficient case progression and client service

Negotiate and advocate for clients' interests while maintaining a high standard of ethics and professionalism

Manage deadlines and maintain organized case files

Requirements

Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Active member in good standing with the California State Bar

5+ years of recent experience practicing family law

Strong courtroom and negotiation skills, with demonstrated success in family law litigation

Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, both collaboratively and independently

Compassionate approach and strong client service orientation
