Job Title: Administrative Assistant (Local Only)

Location: Portland, ME

Job Type: Temp position through 7/3/26

Pay Rate: $19.25-$24.00/hr depending on experience

Position Summary:

Adecco Staffing is working with a local insurance company in Portland who is looking for an Administrative Assistant. This is a short-term temporary opportunity through July 3rd.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage schedules and calendars - proactively coordinate and organize the manager's time, meetings, and travel plans.

Handle communications - answer, screen, and route phone calls, emails, and other correspondence; act as a liaison between leadership and internal/external stakeholders.

Prepare materials for meetings - compile and prepare reports, presentations, data, and briefing information needed for meetings or discussions.

Support special projects - assist with or coordinate special assignments and project work as needed.

Document preparation and reporting - assemble reports from various sources, prepare exhibits, and help with data-related tasks.

Maintain confidentiality - handle sensitive information with discretion and provide only necessary data to relevant parties.

Serve as resource to the team - assist other staff when appropriate to ensure efficient use of leadership's time and company procedures.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required

Proficient in Microsoft Office tools

Must have strong organization, communication, multi-tasking, and customer service skills

Pay Details: $19.25 to $24.00 per hour
