Description

We are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join a growing manufacturing company in the Zebulon, North Carolina area.. In this role, you will oversee the planning, acquisition, production, and distribution processes to ensure seamless operations and achieve organizational goals. This position involves close collaboration with sales and operations teams to optimize inventory management, negotiate contracts, and develop effective supply chain strategies. Supervisory experience is required for this permanent onsite position.

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the procurement and supply chain team to optimize production schedules while minimizing costs.

Oversee material planning and supplier relationships to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality raw and packaging materials.

Coordinate with contract manufacturers to maintain service levels and align production needs.

Manage material handling and warehousing operations to ensure efficient inventory flow and storage.

Develop and implement supply chain policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.

Conduct inventory analysis and reporting to identify proactive adjustments and meet demand targets.

Negotiate contracts with suppliers and vendors to secure favorable terms and maintain strong partnerships.

Collaborate with sales and operations teams to address inventory challenges and achieve business objectives.

Prepare detailed reports on inventory and supply chain performance for management review.

Monitor and evaluate the global supply chain processes to identify opportunities for improvement.

Requirements - Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management or a related field.

Strong knowledge of supply chain logistics and inventory analysis.

Proven ability to manage procurement and purchasing functions effectively.

Experience in handling corporate procurement and raw material inventory.

Familiarity with production scheduling and materials management.

Excellent negotiation skills for managing supplier contracts and partnerships.

Ability to develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with business goals.

Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
