Job Summary and Qualifications

This position acts as the Administrator of the hospital in the absence of management on nights and weekends. They are responsible for staffing, emergency direction and handling complaints appropriately. It is their responsibility to notify the Administrator on call of any emergent situations that might jeopardize the facility. This position is responsible for immediate counseling employees for actions that are against policy.

What qualifications you will need:

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with either an ADN or BSN degree

Must hold a current RN license from the Georgia BON, or an equivalent eNLC license.

BLS required upon hire.

ACLS required upon hire or within one year of hire (AHA/Red Cross).

3-5 years of nursing experience in a hospital environment.

1-2 years as a charge nurse or other management position preferred.
