Position Summary
The Technology Analyst position focuses on supporting design and fabrication workflows by creating and maintaining ITM Fabrication parts. This role requires an understanding of modeling standards and the ability to collaborate closely with design and fabrication teams to ensure accuracy and consistency across projects. The ideal candidate will have experience with Fabrication software, a high level of attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. By streamlining model content creation and standardization, the Technology Analyst will play a key role in driving efficiency and innovation in project delivery
Position Details
Content Creation
Develop ITM Fabrication parts tailored to Mechanical Piping, Plumbing, HVAC, Fire Protection, and Electrical systems.
Ensure all created content adheres to established company standards and industry best practices.
Optimize content for usability, accuracy, and performance within design and fabrication workflows.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and validate the effectiveness of the content created.
Collaborate with design and fabrication teams to ensure model content aligns with project standards and requirements.
Standardization and Documentation
Conduct regular audits and updates to maintain the accuracy and relevance of the digital content library.
Regularly update and enhance the digital content library to meet evolving project needs.
Document standards and best practices related to content development to ensure consistency and scalability.
Training and Support
Provide technical support and training to team members on the use of Fabrication parts.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to model content or compatibility with design and fabrication software.
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance the organization's modeling capabilities.
Process Improvement and Innovation
Identify opportunities to enhance workflows and optimize content creation processes.
Research and implement tools or methods that drive efficiency and innovation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions for emerging challenges
Qualifications
Strong experience with Fabrication CADMep and/or ESTmep.
Familiarity with Mechanical Piping, Plumbing, HVAC, Fire Protection, and Electrical design workflows.
Understanding of modeling standards, content creation, and digital libraries.
Ability to ensure accuracy and consistency in content creation and documentation.
Commitment to high-quality standards in both design and fabrication outputs
Effective communication skills to gather requirements and share updates with stakeholders.
Willingness to work closely with design, fabrication, and technology teams to align efforts
Experience with any of the following software applications is not required, but a plus:
Autodesk Content Catalog
Autodesk Construction Cloud
Autodesk Navisworks Manage
Naviate Fabrication and/or MEP
Stratus
Knowledge or experience with the following processes is not required, but a plus:
Total station exports and point layout processes
3D Coordination using Navisworks
Knowledge of manufacturing and shop fabrication processes
