LSU Health New Orleans School of Dentistry Prosthodontics Department is seeking motivated applicants for the position of Administrative Coordinator 3 or 4.

Minimum Qualifications
Two years of experience in administrative services.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as six months of experience.

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties and Responsibilities, but not limited to,
Administrative Assistant to the Department Head
Manage all administrative functions for the Department Head, including calendar coordination, travel arrangements, meeting scheduling, and preparation of required documentation for faculty and residents.
Maintain departmental accounts with the LSUH Foundation; process payments and reimbursements as needed.
Prepare and process reimbursements for faculty for dues or memberships paid through departmental or foundation accounts.
Initiate and monitor purchase requisitions; approve invoices and ensure accurate posting to appropriate accounts.
Assist in organizing annual postgraduate applicant interviews (communication, scheduling, and candidate information
tracking).
Maintain and update clinic forms and manuals as needed.
Assist with postgraduate orientation logistics.
Monitor and approve clinic invoices, ensuring accurate posting to appropriate accounts.
Maintain the department P card and correctly allocate expenses.
Maintain inventory records of Department and clinic equipment, including serial numbers, coordinate tagging and disposal
with Inventory Services.
Assist with recordkeeping required for Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) compliance under direction of the Program Director
Appointment Type : Classified Probational
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday; work hours will be determined by the department
Work Location: 1100 Florida Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70119
Compensation: Starting rate of pay is dependent upon applicants' qualifications.
This is a Civil Service Position.
Pre-employment Drug testing and Criminal Background check are required.
This position will require selected applicant to be in a probationary status for at least 6 months.
