This roleoperates within the firm's Project Management Office (PMO) and partners closelywith IT leadership and technical teams to ensure technology projects aredelivered on time, within scope, and aligned with firm priorities.While primarily focused on IT, manyinitiatives will require coordination across departments, including LegalOperations, Finance, Human Resources, and Marketing & Business Development.The successful candidate will bring strong project management discipline,demonstrated business analysis expertise, and the ability to navigate complextechnical and business environments with professionalism and discretion.This role is well-suited for a projectmanager who thrives in a professional services environment and is motivated tostrengthen modern IT delivery practices, platforms, and ways of working.Key Responsibilities Include:Project Leadership & Execution Leadplanning, execution, and delivery of large-scale IT and technology-enabledinitiatives, including system implementations, integrations, cloud migrations,automation efforts, and AI-enabled solutions. Manageproject scope, timelines, resources, budgets, risks, and dependencies to ensuretimely and efficient delivery. Translatework into actionable tasks. Developand maintain project plans, communication plans, documentation, andexecutive-level status reporting. Monitorproject performance, project costs, change management, identify risks, andimplement mitigation strategies. Business Analysis & Solution Alignment Analyzeand assess existing business processes and workflows impacted by technologyinitiatives. Conductstructured requirements gathering sessions; document business and functionalrequirements. Translatebusiness needs into clear, prioritized requirements and delivery outcomes,balancing user experience, operational efficiency, and risk considerations. Developprocess maps and ensure alignment between business objectives and systemcapabilities. Supporttesting efforts, including development and coordination of user acceptancetesting (UAT). Cross-Functional & Vendor Coordination Collaboratewith the office of General Counsel to ensure agreements and proper legalprotections are in place at the beginning of each project. Collaboratewith IT during project to coordinate technical execution. Partnerwith Learning & Development to ensure effective training is delivered onnew or changed solutions. Partnerwith other cross-functional stakeholders when projects impact broader firmoperations. Facilitateproject meetings and ensure clear communication among technical and businessstakeholders. Coordinatewith third-party vendors and implementation partners to ensure delivery againstagreed milestones. Manageinitiatives involving cloudbasedplatforms, SaaS vendors, and system integrations, ensuring alignment with firmsecurity, data, and operational standards. PMO & Governance Support Contributeto the development and refinement of PMO standards, templates, and governanceprocesses. Supportstructured project intake and prioritization efforts within the PMO. Participatein post-project evaluations and continuous improvement initiatives. Supportthe use of delivery metrics, dashboards, and reporting to improve visibilityinto project health, throughput, and outcomes for IT and firm leadership. Performother duties as assigned. Required Qualifications 5+years of relevant experience. Provenproject management experience leading IT or technology-focused initiatives. Experiencemanaging complex, multi-stakeholder projects with technical and operationalcomponents. Demonstratedbusiness analysis experience, including requirements elicitation anddocumentation. Experiencewith project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid) and toolssuch as Microsoft Project, Planner, Smartsheet, Jira, Azure DevOps, orequivalent. Strongability to understand technical architecture concepts and systeminterdependencies. Excellentwritten and verbal communication skills; able to present complex informationclearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Strongorganizational skills and attention to detail. Stronganalytical mindset with the ability to anticipate downstream impacts and managerisk. Abilityto work with discretion on confidential and sensitive matters. Desired Qualifications Certificationin project management (e.g., PMP) preferred. Exposureto technology modernization efforts (e.g., cloud migration, platformconsolidation, automation, AI-enabled solutions, data or analyticsinitiatives). Demonstratedability to work collaboratively and build positive relationships acrosstechnical and business teams. Flexible,dedicated teammate with a sense of ownership and proactive problem-solvingskills.
