The Job:
As a Senior Director of Vendor Management, you'll be part of our Corporate Information Technology team working as a hybrid or remote employee. You'll get to:
Strategic Planning:
Develop and implement a comprehensive vendor management strategy aligned with IT and business objectives.
Design, implement, and refine vendor stratification strategies, ensuring vendors are managed according to their strategic value and risk, which maximizes organizational benefit and efficiency.
Provide training and guidance to IT Capability leaders to ensure the effective implementation of strategies.
Partner with Procurement and IT leaders to implement best practices to improve initiatives optimizing cost, quality, and delivery of IT products and services.
Vendor Relationship Leadership:
Establish, nurture, and manage relationships with key technology vendors and service providers. Lead high value negotiations and oversee contract management to secure favorable terms and high-quality delivery.
Ensure Vendor contracts and relationships maximize cost optimization and ROI; Lead and guide IT leaders in effective management of contracts in the @context of Mergers & Acquisitions / Divestiture events.
Oversee the selection, relationship management, contract negotiation and management, performance monitoring, and compliance of Managed Service Providers, ensuring their services align with organizational goals and standards; Manage the team of resources responsible for the daily contract operations.
Performance Management:
Define and track vendor performance metrics, service level agreements (SLAs), and key performance indicators (KPIs). Drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure accountability.
Provide framework for supplier performance reviews and develop corrective action strategies as needed
Risk and Compliance Management:
Identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to vendor engagements. Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and cybersecurity standards.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Partner with IT, procurement, legal, finance, and business units to ensure cohesive vendor strategies and resolve operational issues.
Market Intelligence & Innovation:
Monitor technology trends, vendor market shifts, and emerging solutions. Recommend new vendors and innovative approaches to support business goals.
Financial Management:
Experience in strategic planning and portfolio management, budgeting and financial reporting.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and value delivery.
The Person:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred).
10+ years of progressive experience in IT vendor management, procurement, or strategic sourcing, including 5+ years in a leadership capacity with People Management responsibility.
Deep understanding of IT infrastructure, software, cloud services, and digital transformation.
Demonstrated success in developing and executing vendor management strategies in large complex organizations.
Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience in risk management, compliance, and contract administration.
