This position will assist and report directly to the Senior Plant Accountant and will have the following responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Compile payroll data such as hours worked from time records and verify accuracy of payroll

Run payroll reports

Assists with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable duties

Process Credit/Debit Memos

Assists with month end closing entries

Provides clerical support and maintains employee files and records

Assists associates with a variety of questions: health benefits information, direct deposit information

Receives and processes inbound telephone calls

Greets and processes all visitors.

Assists with other duties as required

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

Have excellent computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with ability to learn new software systems

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively both internally and externally

Detail oriented individual with excellent organizational, analytical, and statistical skills

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

High school graduate or equivalent; college degree desirable

Two to three years of experience in finance or accounting.
