About the Job:
We are looking for a curious, strategic, and insight-driven marketer to join our fast-paced international marketing team and help us build the "marketing muscle" behind Taco Bell's global growth. In this role, you will support the Director of Brand Strategy - International, helping strengthen Taco Bell's global marketing planning and insights capability across our growing portfolio of international markets. You'll work at the intersection of data, consumer culture, and creative development-fueling campaigns and plans that deliver both cultural relevance and commercial impact.
The Day-to-Day:
Marketing & Annual Planning
Lead the coordination and execution of the global annual marketing planning cycle, ensuring alignment between strategic priorities and in-market execution.
Organize and manage key planning moments, including TACO-CON, Taco Talks, and other virtual and in-person knowledge-building sessions that drive strategic alignment, capability building, and inspiration across markets.
Collaborate with priority markets to support brand planning, campaign calendaring, and cross-functional alignment.
Help maintain tools, timelines, templates, and best practices that keep the marketing engine running efficiently and insightfully.
Brand Health & Performance Tracking
Manage and synthesize data from brand trackers and other performance tools to identify key shifts in brand perception, consideration, and purchase intent.
Create clear, concise reports that influence decisions.
Partner with global and local stakeholders to expand implementation of brand health measurement tools.
Consumer & Cultural Insights
Contribute to new market entry planning by assisting with landscape research, consumer insights, and cultural immersion to inform market readiness and launch strategies.
Own the insights and testing on special projects like the launch of our first Live Mas Cafv© internationally or the development of our international flagship asset strategy.
Help uncover the "why" behind the numbers-supporting strategic briefs, innovation concepts, and creative development with actionable insights.
Track macro trends, cultural shifts, Gen Z behaviors, and competitive activity to keep the team plugged into what's next.
Support ad hoc deep dives into key topics (e.g., value, food trends, delivery habits) to inform global and local strategies.
Is This You?
BA or BS degree; background in marketing, strategy, or consumer research preferred.
6-8 years relevant work experience in marketing insights, brand planning, or strategy-QSR, FMCG, or agency experience a plus.
Passionate about the intersection of data and creativity.
Strong analytical and storytelling skills; able to interpret research and performance metrics and translate them into compelling insights.
Collaborative team player who can flex between global strategy and local relevance.
Comfortable navigating ambiguity and adapting in a fast-paced, cross-cultural environment.
Strong PowerPoint skills and ability to visualize insights clearly and persuasively.
Ability to travel internationally 2-3 times a year.
Based in or willing to relocate to Irvine, CA.

Salary Range: $137,900 to $154,000 annually + bonus eligibility + benefits
