Responsibilities
Ascension Seton is looking for a PA or AGACNP for SICU.
This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to provide medical services to patients at Ascension Seton Medical Center Williamson, located in Round Rock, TX.
Position Highlights:
Acute Care Certification - strongly preferred
patient population 15 years and up
2 plus years of Trauma experience - as an APP - strongly preferred
Responsibilities:
Obtains patient history and performs assessment. Orders, performs and interprets diagnostic procedures.
Provides and documents direct treatment and management of health conditions.
Provides counseling and education of patients and their families/caregivers concerning preventative health, treatment options and community resources.
Performs preventative health assessments, screening, immunizations and care.

Requirements
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred.
Drug Enforcement Admin credentialed from the Drug Enforcement Administration preferred.
Education:
Master's degree of Nursing required.
