Job Title: Electrical Pivot Technician Job Description

We are seeking a mechanically inclined Electrical Pivot Technician who is adept at troubleshooting and maintaining pump controls, tower motors, and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance on pump controls and tower motors.

Troubleshoot electrical systems to ensure efficient operation.

Collaborate with team members to solve mechanical issues.

Ensure systems are operational and meet safety standards.

Essential Skills

Strong mechanical aptitude.

Experience with electrical systems and pump controls.

Proficient in troubleshooting and maintaining tower motors.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Preferred: Associate's degree in Electrical Technology.

Experience in wiring motors is advantageous.

Knowledge of plumbing or hydrology is beneficial.

Work Environment

Work both outdoors and inside pump houses, adaptable to various weather conditions. Some overnight travel may be required. Expect a range of working hours, with 30-40 hours in the winter and 50-70 hours in the summer, depending on rainfall.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rockville, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
