Position Summary :

TheProducts Finance Business PartnerInternwillplay a key role supportingthe products (Medicaid,Long-Term Care, and Medicare) andproductstrategies. Thisinternshipoffers hands-on experience in financial analysis, strategydevelopment, and cross-functionalcollaboration, andisa unique opportunityto learn from and contribute to projects thatshapecorporatestrategy.

Duties & Responsibilities :

Develop an understanding ofHealthfirstsuniquebusinessmodel, with a focuson financial data and trends

Attend meetingswith cross-functional teams tolearnhow the Finance department supports operational decision-making

Assistin analyzing financial data related toall Healthfirstsproductsandgainexperienceininterpretingmembership, cost,and revenuetrendstoidentifyimprovement opportunities

Minimum Qualifications:

Undergraduate students must be a junior or senior at an accredited institution or have graduated within 12 months of the program. Graduate students must be enrolled at an accredited institution or have graduated within 12 months of the program.

Will not require sponsorship for employment

Eligible to work in the U.S.

Must have a minimum of a 3.0 GPA from an accredited school

Preferred Qualifications:

Students currently enrolled as a Junior orSenior in an accredited Bachelors degree program, or an accreditedMastersin Healthcare Administration , Math, Business, Statistics, Economics , Finance, Accounting, or related programs

ProficiencyinSQL

Work experience with Microsoft Excel - pivot tables, formatting, sorting, formulas such asVLOOKUP

Self-motivated, creative problem solver who can work independently and collaborate throughstrong communicationand interpersonal skills

Experience managing projects

Knowledgeof Medicaid and Medicare programs

Knowledge of healthcare data (claims,diagnosisand procedure codes, etc.)
