Logistics Coordinator

Primary Purpose of the Role Support plant logistics and process flow by building, maintaining, and updating routing steps for products in systems such as FlexRoute, SAP, and Campstar. Interface with engineers and scientists to translate process flows into system-ready routes. Ensure parts move correctly through multi-step processes and that the system reflects accurate workflow updates.A full list of responsibilities that the process technician level II should work toward fulfilling includes supporting our day-to-day operations and process development for Trident product manufacturing, including in order of most used skills on a day-to-day basis:1. Plant Logistics Supporta. Routings: Enter Production Information into Facility Data System and Maintain Other Data Sources as Requiredb. Transport Parts and Suppliesc. Maintain Inventory of Production Consumables and Parts2. Documentationa. Support the Creation of SOS and SOPsb. Revise and refresh process documentation3. Lean Manufacturinga. Support Initiatives to Optimize Manufacturing Processes (5S, Lean Principles)b. Engage in Information Sharing to Improve Overall Process4. Product Inspection Supporta. Perform Metrology Measurements as Neededb. Support A-LIIST Metrology When necessaryc. Inspect Other Quality Metrics as Requested5. Equipment Supporta. New Equipment Installation and Qualification Supportb. New and Novel Methods for Operating Existing Equipment6. Preventive Maintenancea. Identify PMs Needed for Equipmentb. Document PM Requirementsc. Perform PM as Appropriate7. Experiment Executiona. Part Trackingb. Performing Experimentsc. Equipment Set-up and Operationd. Data Recordinge. Product Samplingf. Communication of Status, Issues, and IdeasEducation - BA degree preferred, Associate's or HS Diploma/GED with relevant experience - minimum required.Experience 3+ years desired, experience in supporting plant logistics, including material supply Highly proficient with Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & Outlook Collaborate with key stakeholders to complete assigned tasks Experience with scheduling tools, navigating stakeholder and location availabilityDesired Skills Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously. Exceptional attention to detail in data entry, documentation, scheduling, and reporting. Ability to anticipate needs, follow up on open items, and independently resolve routine issues. Ability to understand and manage multi-step industrial processes (810 steps per product flow). Professional written and verbal communication skills for interacting with engineers, leadership, vendors, and cross-functional teams. Nice to Have Skills Previous experience in: o Planning or technician roles o Industries with complex workflows (paper mills, manufacturing, etc.) Backgrounds from customer-facing companies dealing with parts movement (e.g., NAPA, Gillies), if combined with strong computer skills. Familiarity with SAP or MES systems (not required).
