Job Title: Aviation Logistics Admin Job Description
As an Aviation Logistics Admin, you will be responsible for arranging logistics and tracking records for L-382 aircraft. This administrative role involves managing logistics for aircraft travel and assisting with paperwork. You will oversee the lifecycle of aircraft spare parts and products, including acquisition, inventory, warehousing, distribution, internal allocation, delivery, and disposal of resources.
Responsibilities
Prepare and process inventory requests for quotes, repair orders, and purchases in accordance with company policies and procedures, including obtaining necessary authorizations.
Submit requests/orders to approved suppliers and specify the most cost-effective method of shipment to meet delivery requirements.
Handle shipping and receiving of parts, inventory, and other materials; monitor the quality, cost, and efficiency of the movement and storage of goods.
Receive materials and determine proper disposition to maintain accountability for company and/or client-owned property.
Maintain stock levels for parts, equipment, and consumables; monitor shelf life and life-limited items.
Create and file accurate shipping manifests with proper documentation for outbound shipments.
Identify, assemble, and document hazardous cargo loads according to regulations associated with the handling of hazardous cargo.
Coordinate arrangements for acceptance and movement of spares, including interfacing with appropriate freight forwarders.
Provide assistance to other departments by providing order status and addressing special requests; assist in documenting and preparing load plans.
Monitor on-site fuel storage to ensure levels are maintained and all associated certifications, inspections, and licenses are current.
Monitor and document hazardous waste stream, including accumulation and disposal.
Advise department management of any issues, delays, and/or schedule interruptions.
Perform Tool Room Controller duties to ensure all tools and test equipment are accounted for at the end of each task and shift.
Ensure work area is clean, safe, and orderly at all times, including work area and hangar as required.
Adhere to company policies and procedure manuals, including safety manuals and Repair Station Manuals.
Stay informed of logistics technology advances and apply appropriate technology to improve logistic processes.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing professional networks, and participating in professional organizations.
Essential Skills
Experience in aviation administration and logistics.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Strong computer skills with a focus on inventory and logistics management.
Ability to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs.
Exceptional tolerance to stress and ability to function effectively in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
Adherence to corporate policies, standards, procedures, and company core values.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and protect company proprietary information.
Capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with aviation records and logistics management.
Willingness to occasionally travel domestically for job-related training and meetings.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.88 - $27.88/hr.
