A well established law firm is seeking a Litigation Legal Assistant to join their team in Minneapolis, MN! This position is full time, 37.5 hour work week, full benefits, and a competitive salary! Their ideal candidate has a minimum of 5 years of experience as a paralegal or similar roles. This person has excellent written and verbal communication skills, great problem solving skills, very detail oriented, and a hard worker. Skills required and Job Duties include the following: Job Duties: Prepare and proofread legal documents, correspondence, and other files for review. Handles calendars for meetings, appointments, travel, and more. Trascribes digital documents, and answers phone calls. Assists with preparing binders, scanning, and more. Maintains and understands filing systems and databases. Communicates effectively with attorneys, and staff on case prep, discovery, and trial prep. Coordinates duties and projects around the office where needed. Assist with other duties as needed.Qualifications: Ability to use Microsoft Office suite, and other softwares. Work well independently and in a team. Experience utilizing Table of Contents, Table of Authorities, and other advanced software. Ability to @type at efficiently and work overtime when needed.
