Job Description
The Quantitative Finance Forecast & Production (QFFP) Team is responsible for implementation and monitoring of Corporate Treasury models. Model use cases include multi-scenario financial forecasting, CCAR, and interest rate risk. QFFP is seeking a results-oriented contributor with a proven track record to support and enhance its model-based forecast infrastructure.
The position includes broad exposure to various functions within Corporate Finance (e.g. ALM, quantitative modeling, financial planning & analysis, accounting, etc.). An ideal candidate will have extensive programming experience in SQL and R/Python (or other analytics software) as well as transferable experience in model-based forecasting, reporting, finance, or economics.
Responsibilities
Provide end-to-end ownership of monthly forecasting processes and deliverables with exceptional level of accuracy and attention to detail
Champion automation and workflow optimization by designing intelligent, flexible systems that integrate necessary decision points while materially reducing operational overhead
Architect scalable, resilient data pipelines spanning multiple platforms and numerous data sources to support multi-scenario long-term forecasting initiatives
Consolidate and expand automated reporting infrastructure, prioritizing self-service solutions that meet stakeholder needs at multiple levels of the organization
Establish generalizable, data-driven forecast logic and rule sets, ensuring suitability across multiple forecast scenarios and business @contexts
Extract, synthesize, and communicate complex forecast narratives and variances from large and evolving data ecosystems
Proactively design and implement strong data-quality controls and monitoring frameworks to ensure the integrity, completeness, and auditability of all forecasting and reporting processes
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience
Six to eight years of statistical and/or data analytics experience
Preferred Skills/Experience
Advanced mathematical, analytical, and coding skills
Expertise with analytics platforms such as Python or R
Extensive experience with data warehousing, data structures, and data quality assurance testing in SQL, or similar database language
Experience with data engineering, financial forecasting and/or automated reporting
Experience in banking, finance, economics, accounting and/or stress testing
Exceptional attention to detail and intellectual curiosity
Strong technical writing and project management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
LOCATION EXPECTATIONS: This role requires working from a U.S. Bank Location three (3) or more days per week.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $111,605.00 - $131,300.00
