Division: Within the Fiscal Department at ELMHS, Located in Jackson, LA
The Mission of ELMHS is to provide mental health evaluation, treatment, habilitation, and consultation for adults. Programs include inpatient interventions, jail-based evaluations, supervised group home and residential programs, forensic evaluation, care, custody, and aftercare; intermediate and long-term psychiatric services are coordinated with the total system of care in Louisiana
ELMHS is looking for a motivated, detail-oriented, and positive individual to join our team as anAdministrative Program Director 3!
Minimum Qualifications
Eight years of experience in administrative services; OR
Six years of full-time work experience in any field plus five years of experience in administrative services; OR
A bachelor's degree plus five years of experience in administrative services; OR
An advanced degree plus four years of experience in administrative services.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
In this role, you will:
Manage the Financial Management and Consumable Inventory Section of the Fiscal Department.
Monitor employee performance, conduct employee training as needed, manage employees leave according to departmental policy, and perform annual employee evaluations
manage the revenue deposits and checking accounts for ELMHS. Manage the revenue for the self-generated, income not available, and enterprise funds
Reconcile banks statements on all specified checking accounts.
Prepare reports on the management of expenditure coding and makes recommendation of needed corrections in cost allocations.
Manage the coding errors discovered between hospitals and contacts appropriate staff to make necessary corrections.
Extract and correlate financial information from in-house journals and prepare weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual reports used by higher level accounting professionals
Direct the purchasing of goods, services, equipment, repairs, and renovations in the most efficient and cost-effective manner
Direct the review for accuracy, expense account coding, and maintain on file all travel related expenses for ELMHS employees
Oversees the expenditure of monies for airfare, hotel accommodations, registration fees, car rentals, and other travel expenses
Direct and manage all Warehouse Operations
Review all orders and report on items maintained in the warehouse and ensure that all warehouse activities are in compliance with an accountability control and auditing standard
Conduct routine and random audits of warehouse operations and prepares reports for budgetary use by the Accountant Manager and the Fiscal Director.
Conducts a year end physical inventory of the warehouse.
