As a Security Officer with Allied Universal at a busy retail mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence that may help to deter security-related incidents. You will assist shoppers and tenants with directions and concerns, document and report unusual activity, and communicate clearly with site contacts and local responders. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to tenants, staff, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail and mall location.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with disturbances, medical situations, and/or property-related concerns, and notifying appropriate parties.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail and mall property, including common areas, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unwanted activity.

Monitor access points and security-related systems such as CCTV and alarm panels as assigned, and document observations, incidents, and/or maintenance concerns per site procedures.

Complete routine reports and detailed incident documentation, communicate key information during shift transitions, and coordinate with site management and local responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
