Executive Assistant | Strategic Partnerships | Sports & Entertainment
How will you make an impact in this role?
The Strategic Partnerships (SP) team is charged with leveraging the Company's largest, most strategic partnerships to bring innovation and additional value to American Express' suite of products, services, capabilities, and experiences that engage customers and drive generational relevance of American Express Membership.
The Sports, Entertainment and Market Strategies team within Strategic Partnerships is tasked with partnering across the enterprise to bring additional strategic planning, relationship and negotiating expertise to our largest global sponsorship partners, managing marquee strategic partner events (e.g. annual Partner Summit), and leading a market strategy initiative.
The Executive Assistant in this role will support two Vice Presidents on the SP team - one Band 50 and one Band 45s. The colleague will be instrumental in the team's organization and ensuring compliance across team operations.
Job Responsibilities:
Manage two VP calendars with high attention to detail and timeliness
Ensure timely preparation and submission of monthly expense reports
Execute travel arrangements including air, hotel, dining, car transfers and meeting agendas
Support with meeting preparation including document creation, printing, binding, etc.
Manage internal and/or external events as needed
Manage logistics of meeting administration including coordinating security access, escorting guests to the room, catering, clean-up
Procure laptops, office supplies, office space, etc. and manage the procurement process
Work closely with the other executive assistants on office operations and team matters
Communicate effectively with all team members and key internal or external partners
Follow up with team on mandatory trainings, as well as other requirements and deadlines
Assist with special projects and initiatives, as requested
Minimum Qualifications:
Strong compass for using discretion and maintaining confidentiality
Motivated, proactive team player with strong initiative, organizational, administrative, and interpersonal skills; eager to contribute to a positive team culture
Strong attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy, quality and timeliness
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work within deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Ability to interact effectively and diplomatically with executives and Executive Assistants across the organization and externally
Excellent verbal and written communication skills (via phone, email, and in-person)
High level of proficiency with digital work platforms including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications:
3 years of previous experience as an Executive Assistant and familiarity with office management and team administration highly preferred
Experience using CoPilot, Chat GPT, as well as internal American Express (or related) tools and systems -Outlook, Ariba, Concur, Payroll and myHR
Bachelors degree preferred

Salary Range: $31.49 to $49.28 hourly bonus benefits
