Job Summary

The Warehouse Coordinator supports warehouse, yard, and office operations to ensure field crews and customers receive the correct materials, tools, and equipment on time and in safe working condition. This role combines material handling, equipment readiness, customer service, order processing, and administrative support to keep daily operations running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Receive, pick, stage, and prepare materials, tools, and equipment for job deployment

Inspect, verify, and return all materials, tools, and equipment to inventory

Track tools and equipment assigned to crews and projects; escalate missing or damaged items

Perform or coordinate basic maintenance, cleaning, inspections, and minor repairs

Tag and remove unsafe or damaged equipment from service and maintain records

Locate materials for the local branch and assist other branches when needed

Assist with inventory spot checks, cycle counts, and processing returns

Assist customers at the counter and enter rental/sales orders in BAS

Convert quotes to rental orders and process daily credit card transactions

Coordinate warehouse pickups and deliveries; arrange outgoing trucks for branch transfers

Receive vendor deliveries and verify accuracy against purchase orders and packing slips

Complete data entry for payroll timesheets, filing, postage, and general office tasks

Reconcile monthly gas receipts and submit required documentation

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse, office, and storage environment

Qualifications

1-3 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, rental operations, or equipment support

Knowledge of construction tools, equipment, and materials preferred

Experience with inventory control systems or manual tracking processes

Forklift, telehandler, or similar equipment-operation experience preferred

Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills

Proficiency with data entry, order-entry systems (such as BAS), and basic office tasks

Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
