Job Title: Construction Laborer

Job Description

We are seeking a junior-level CMT Technician/Inspector in the Baton Rouge area. This role involves learning to monitor piles, log piles, monitor vibrations, classify soils, and collect materials for testing. Candidates will gain exposure to the CMT industry by following technicians and engineers to better understand company operations and industry standards.

Responsibilities

Follow technicians and engineers to gain industry knowledge

6+ months of construction knowledge

Dependability and positive attitude

Owning a truck is a plus

Work Environment

The work environment is very team-oriented, where collaboration is key, and no task is beneath anyone. The office is small, with less than 20 people, promoting a close team atmosphere. Dress code consists of well-fitting jeans and a clean shirt. The role involves a combination of field studies and office engineering work. Personal protective equipment includes a hard hat, safety glasses, steel-toed boots, and long pants.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Geismar, LA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $19.00/hr.
