Construction Laborer

Description

Serves as a Laborer for the construction of landfill gas collection or other environmental pollution control systems.

Perform work in a professional, productive and safe manner. Continually strive to improve the Office's and ones' own, health & safety performance. Adopt the principles of SCS's Safety Culture. Understand the Company's philosophy regarding behavior-based safety and play a part in eliminating unsafe practices and conditions.

Proficient with the Trimble TSC5 unit. Calibrate to site, import CSV files to stake out projects. Able to check grade of installed piping to show to clients. Able to carry unit and put down my own stakes solo. Weekly I export all points and email in a CSV file to engineers.

Operate Machinery. Haul truck, Bobcat, Excavator, etc..

Familiar with fusion equipment

Reading wells liquid level

Maintenance well pumps

Install extraction wells and pumps

Oversee projects and ensure quality is met

Reading SEMS

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of experience with pipe or mechanical experience

Operating experience is preferred (forklift, small equipment) Advanced technical skills related to the operation and maintenance of pipe fusion equipment. Forklift experience preferred 1 to 3 years in general construction experience required Must be flexible with being on call for emergencies, working overtime and weekends as needed. Travel is required Valid driver's license with driving record in good standing required Must meet physical requirements for driving (pick-up truck), lifting and carrying

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
