Summary The primary purpose of this position is to exercise first level supervisory and managerial authorities over the Asset Accountability Element in the Civil Engineer Squadron, responsible for the oversight of real property assets, financial management, force management, and information technology. Responsibilities Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of Asset Accountability Element, ensuring that the Asset Accountability function complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Represents the organization with a variety of installation and functional area organizations. Communicates and coordinates Asset Accountability Element issues with higher headquarters, regulatory agencies, other installation units, and other local officials, etc. Directs the development and execution of the Asset Accountability Element budget, and preparation of Planning, Programming, and Budgeting System (PPBS) documentation in support of element planning. FEDERAL TIME-IN-GRADE (TIG) REQUIREMENT FOR GENERAL SCHEDULE (GS) POSITIONS: Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible.
