Job Title: 1st Shift Packaging Quality LeadJob Description

Join a dynamic team as a 1st Shift Packaging Quality Lead, working from 6am to 2:30pm, Monday through Friday. While the schedule offers consistency, flexibility is needed to meet business demands, especially during the busy holiday season. This role requires a seasoned professional with over 5 years of supervisory experience in a food manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities

Supervise and lead the packaging quality team.

Train employees and promote continuous improvement.

Implement and maintain quality standards.

Follow and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Utilize Microsoft programs for reporting and documentation.

Collaborate with the production team to ensure quality assurance.

Manage production schedules and oversee the operation of production lines.

Essential Skills

5+ years of supervisory experience in a food manufacturing facility.

Experience with quality assurance and control.

Strong understanding of food production processes.

Proficiency with Microsoft programs.

Experience with implementing SOPs and GMPs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

SQF and HACCP certifications are a plus.

Familiarity with USDA and FDA regulations.

Experience in production management and packaging.

Knowledge of OSHA standards.

Work Environment

Work in a food manufacturing facility with multiple production lines, each producing different products based on daily order demands. This is a bakery environment with large mixers and ovens. The machinery often requires disassembly and hand washing, posing challenges for the sanitation team. This is a Permanent position based out of Mount Pleasant, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45000.00 - $55000.00/yr.

This is a direct placement position. Benefits will be provided on start of assignment by client or sooner if requested by client.

Workplace Type

This is a fully onsite position in Mount Pleasant,WI.
