JOB REQUIREMENTS: ACCOUNTING TECHNICIAN I - PT ACCOUNTING TECHNICIAN I - PT Accounting Technician Washington County, located in West Bend, Wisconsin has an excellent opportunity for an Accounting Technician within the Clerk of Courts Department. This is a part-time position responsible for assisting the Clerk of Courts, the Register in Probate and the Clerk of Juvenile Court in the discharge of the duties of their offices by providing support services for the Circuit Court system. Position Summary: Under the general supervision of the Accounting Supervisor, and responsible for assisting the Clerk of Courts, the Register in Probate and the Clerk of Juvenile Court in the discharge of the duties of their offices by providing support services for the Circuit Court system. Duties/Responsibilities: The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned. Greet customers, assess the purpose of the visit, direct to appropriate department, date stamp documents for filing, deputize documents, assist litigants with public access computer, provide general court assistance as required. Process incoming faxes and distribute to judiciary and other staff. Analyze account information and accurately receipt payments received by mail and in-person through multiple payment methods, handle cash, and reconcile deposit drawer. Reconcile and receipt payments received from credit card processing company. Process bankruptcy notices and maintains bankruptcy spreadsheet regarding debts due.
