What You'll Do:
As the Electrical Engineering Manager, you'll take the lead in managing talented engineers and technicians while driving technical excellence and project success. Your role will encompass:
Leadership & Management
Lead a team of 15-20 electrical engineers and technicians, providing mentorship, support, and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
Set team goals aligned with company objectives, oversee performance evaluations, and guide career development.
Inspire your team to continuously improve processes, designs, and results.
Technical Leadership
Oversee the design, development, and testing of electrical systems for groundbreaking aerospace applications.
Review and approve electrical designs, schematics, and technical documentation to meet industry standards.
Stay ahead of the curve by keeping abreast of emerging technologies and trends in aerospace engineering.
Conduct risk assessments, implement mitigation strategies, and ensure all activities comply with safety regulations.
Represent electrical engineering in cross-functional meetings, design reviews, and engage with senior management and customers.
Process Improvement & Collaboration
Lead the improvement of design processes, tools, and methodologies to maximize quality and productivity.
Partner across departments including program management, mechanical engineering, operations, sales, and more to ensure seamless collaboration.
What You Bring to the Table:
We are looking for a leader and innovator with a solid background in electrical engineering, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for aerospace. Here's what we're seeking:
Qualifications Required:
US Citizenship (as required by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations - ITAR).
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field).
8+ years of electrical engineering experience, including 3+ years in leadership, management, or mentoring roles.
Aerospace industry expertise with a deep understanding of aerospace electrical systems and standards.
Solid experience in analog and power circuit design, analysis, and testing.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with relevant software tools.

Compensation & Benefits:
Base salary: $135,000 through $155,000, influenced by several factors including experience, skill set, education, certifications, market conditions, and business needs.
