Job Summary and Qualifications

The Anesthesia Technician will be a licensed skilled and experienced person who is responsible under the direct supervision of the Operating Room Manager and Chief of Anesthesia for assisting in the OR suites, Labor & Delivery, Cath Lab, Radiology, Special Procedures or any department as directed by the Anesthesiologist.

The Anesthesia tech sets up, moves, prepares and maintains all Anesthesia machines, equipment, supplies for the Anesthesiologist

Provides technical support to Anesthesiologists by means of invasive and non-invasive monitoring assistance

Assists in the orientation, training and education of new personnel

Assists in the maintaining of safe and aseptic environment for all patients

Performs all related duties as assigned and directed

Requirements:

ASATT Certification Preferred

BCLS Required

High school diploma or equivalent
